Wenatchee, Washington, is home to several hospitals and primary care medical facilities. There are two general hospitals in the city, with a total of five hospitals and primary care facilities in the greater Wenatchee metro area.
One of the earliest hospitals in Wenatchee was the Wenatchee Valley Hospital, founded in 1908 by Dr. Colin Gilchrist. Dr. Gilchrist first built a large residence on the southwest corner of Palouse and Chelan in 1903, adding rooms for patient treatment and recuperation. In 1908, he expanded the facility, moving it to a farmhouse at a cherry orchard he owned at the corner of Washington and Miller Streets. This "Emergency Hospital" featured round-the-clock nursing care for patients.
In 1922, a new hospital was built at the corner of Washington and Cleveland Streets. This five-story building, costing $157,000, became St. Anthony's Hospital. St. Anthony's Hospital thrived for over 40 years at this location, serving the community until 1965 when it moved to a new facility on Red Apple Road. The original St. Anthony's Hospital was renamed Christopher House and converted into an adult residential care facility.
The Wenatchee Valley Hospital continued to operate and, in 2011, completed a five-story patient tower expansion, offering private patient rooms and state-of-the-art technical facilities. In 2013, the Wenatchee Valley Hospital merged with Central Washington Hospital to form Confluence Health, creating an integrated rural healthcare delivery system with two hospitals and multi-specialty care in over 30 service lines.

Wenatchee is home to several hospitals and primary care medical facilities. There are five hospitals in the greater Wenatchee metro area, including Central Washington Hospital, which is nationally recognised for its cardiac and intensive care services.
Before Cascade General Hospital was built, Wenatchee had two modern, small hospitals: Deaconess and St. Anthony's. However, by 1970, it was no longer economically feasible for both hospitals to remain open. Cascade General Hospital was not the first medical facility on that site, as the town's first full-sized hospital, Cascade Sanitarium, was built by Dr Albert Lessing in 1923 on the corner of Eighth and Main streets. The 26-bed facility provided medical care for railroad workers building a tunnel under Stevens Pass. Cascade Sanitarium was replaced by Cascade General Hospital, which has since undergone expansion.
Wenatchee's other hospitals include Confluence Health Hospital, which has two campuses in the city, and Lake Chelan Community Hospital, which is located in Chelan.
