What You'll Learn

Complete the main quest, 'The Caretaker's Lunar Lament'
To complete the main quest, The Caretaker's Lunar Lament, you must meet with Gladwin Moon, the caretaker of Hogwarts, who will introduce you to the Demiguise Statues. You must then observe how the statue changes when day switches to night. Once it does, remove the Demiguise Moon from the statue.
Follow Gladwin to a nearby locked door, where he will ask you to deal with two additional Demiguise Statues. He will then teach you Alohomora, an essential spell that will always be equipped without needing a Spell Slot. To learn the spell, you must complete a spell-learning minigame.
Use Alohomora to open the locked door by rotating both sets of gears until you see a reaction, and then holding them in place. This will initiate a minigame that can be challenging to understand at first. Once you have unlocked the door, cast Disillusionment and proceed through.
Head upstairs and cast Revelio to reveal nearby prefects and professors, who you will want to avoid. You can use Basic Cast to lure them away. On the first floor, there will be an Arithmancy door that you can complete, but it is optional. Head up the spiral staircase to access the Prefect's Bathroom via a Level 1 locked door. Unlock it with the Alohomora minigame, then proceed around the right side of the bathroom to avoid the prefects and find a Demiguise statue.
Head back out and up the spiral staircase to your left to arrive at the Hospital Wing Floo Flames location. Sneak past the nurse and professor near one of the beds to find the second Demiguise statue on a table at the far end of the room.
Once you have both Demiguise Moons, return to Gladwin Moon to complete the quest.

It is considered a basic spell in the wizarding world and is commonly used in the game to gain access to new areas and complete certain objectives. To learn the Alohomora spell, you must complete two main quests:
Percival Rackham's Trial
First, you must find out the location of the Tap to Reveal underneath Hogwarts. This will prompt you to complete the first of Professor Rackham's four ancient magic trials. Completing this quest will open the second mandatory quest.
The Caretaker's Lunar Lament
Once you've completed Percival Rackham's Trial, make your way back to Hogwarts and go to the Reception Hall. Here, you'll find Gladwin Moon, who will teach you the Alohomora charm to access a restricted castle section during the quest. This quest will teach you the base form of the Alohomora spell, which can open Level I locks.
The Man Behind the Moons
To learn more powerful forms of the Alohomora spell, you will need to complete The Man Behind the Moons quest. Mr. Moon will teach you Alohomora II for finding nine Demiguise Statues and Alohomora III for finding an additional 13 Demiguise Statues, for a total of 22 statues. Use the Disillusionment spell
To unlock the Hospital Wing in Hogwarts Legacy, players must complete the Caretaker's Lunar Lament main quest. This quest involves collecting two Demiguise Statues, one located in the Prefect's Bathroom and the other in the Hospital Wing.
The Disillusionment Spell is a crucial tool in this quest. Players learn this spell from Sebastian Sallow during the Secrets of the Restricted Section mission. It is a Utility spell that makes the caster less visible to enemies, causing them to react more slowly to their presence. The spell allows the player to blend into their surroundings, making it perfect for sneaking past students and professors without being noticed.
To use the Disillusionment Spell effectively during this quest, players should cast it on themselves before attempting to collect the Demiguise Statues. This will enable them to move stealthily and remain undetected as they navigate the corridors and staircases of Hogwarts. By casting the spell, players can bypass enemies and reach their destinations unnoticed, including the Hospital Wing.
The Disillusionment Spell is especially useful for opening Disillusionment chests and doors, which are marked by a large eyeball that detects intruders. By casting the spell and remaining at a distance, players can trick the eyeball and access the contents of the chest or unlock the door. This mechanic is essential for progressing through certain areas of the game, including the Hospital Wing.
Overall, the Disillusionment Spell is a powerful tool in the player's arsenal, enabling them to approach their objectives in the Hospital Wing and throughout Hogwarts Legacy with stealth and cunning.

Find the arithmancy door
To find the Arithmancy Door in Hogwarts Legacy, you must first travel to the Divination Classroom Floo Flame, located in The Library Annex of Hogwarts. From the Floo Flame, go through the entrance on your right and follow the path of the wooden walkway until you reach an intersection. Turn right and continue along the path until you reach the end.
At the end of the path, you will find a blackboard with illustrations based on the puzzle and a blue box next to it on a bench. Open the box to obtain the Arithmancy Number Door Cipher, which will help you solve the equations on the doors. The Arithmancy Door is nearby, and it will lead you to the Arithmancy Classroom, where students learn about the magical properties of numbers and numerology.
There are a total of 12 Arithmancy Doors to discover and unlock, and they can be found all over Hogwarts in different classrooms and halls. These puzzle doors are surrounded by strange beast symbols and locked behind mathematical equations. While they may seem intimidating, they are relatively easy to solve once you learn what the symbols represent.
To solve the puzzle, simply approach the door and reveal a set of equations. Both equations will feature a central number surrounded by three figures. All three outer numbers must equal the central number when added together. Some of the symbols may be replaced by a question mark and a creature-like symbol, which will match one of the symbols around the arch of the door.
For example, in the Library Annex, the solution to the puzzle is to switch the ? block to 4 (the owl-like Fwooper) and the ?? block to 3 (the Runespoor, a three-headed snake). The door will then open, revealing a small chest containing a collectible item.
