Over the years, the hospital expanded its facilities and services, including growing its coronary care unit and Cardiovascular Institute. In June 2018, the hospital announced a $3 million donation from the Ginsburg Family Foundation to expand its Cardiovascular Institute.

In January 2019, Florida Hospital Orlando officially changed its name to AdventHealth Orlando. The hospital continued to expand its services and facilities, including investing in new technology and adding programs and services. In May 2022, AdventHealth Orlando purchased a second helicopter, enhancing its ability to transport patients to other AdventHealth hospitals in Florida.
