The Children's Hospital of Orange County (CHOC) is a pediatric healthcare system based in Orange County, California. CHOC Hospital's main campus in Orange, California, is its flagship hospital, with 334 beds and an affiliation with the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine. In recent years, CHOC has undergone a merger and rebranding. In November 2023, CHOC and Rady Children's Hospital announced their intention to merge, aiming to create one of California's largest pediatric healthcare systems. Following this merger, the Children's Hospital of Orange County became part of Rady Children's Health, signalling a new era in pediatric healthcare.
