Hopper's deal with the lab
In Season 1 of Stranger Things, Police Chief Jim Hopper made a deal with Dr. Brenner of Hawkins Lab. Hopper agreed to tell Dr. Brenner where Eleven was hiding in exchange for being allowed to enter the alternate Upside Down reality and find Will Byers, who had gone missing.

Ciaya Whetstone, a 21-year-old college student from South Carolina, was found dead at New Orleans East Hospital on February 19, 2022. Whetstone was a student at the University of New Orleans, majoring in business.
On the morning of her death, Whetstone left her apartment and took an Uber, as confirmed by the ride-sharing company. Uber also stated that Whetstone's trip "ended without incident at the requested destination." However, New Orleans Police have not confirmed this detail or provided many other details about their investigation into her death.
