Sexual assault allegations against P. Diddy

In October 2024, P. Diddy, whose real name is Sean Combs, was arrested on sex trafficking and racketeering charges. The music mogul has faced a heap of sexual assault and misconduct allegations, with over 100 lawsuits filed against him.

In light of these charges, a former bodyguard of the rapper has come forward with allegations that Usher, who was under Diddy's legal guardianship in the '90s, was sexually abused by him. The former bodyguard, Gene Deal, claimed that he heard about the incident from music executives, and that Usher was hospitalised following the assault. Deal alleged that Diddy abused Usher so brutally that he was left bleeding from his buttocks.

Usher has not publicly responded to these comments, but he has spoken about the "wild" experiences he had under Diddy's wing. Diddy has denied all allegations and filed a $100 million defamation lawsuit against NBC Universal, Peacock, and the production company Ample, arguing that they "knowingly and recklessly amplified outrageous lies".

Combs failed to appear in court, and Cardello-Smith was awarded a default judgment of $100 million, which was later overturned.

In total, Combs faces 63 lawsuits and counting, with four federal lawsuits and a fifth brought by Ventura, which was settled and dismissed days after being filed.

Usher's hospitalisation as a child

There is no information about Usher being rushed to the hospital as a child. However, there are reports of the singer's son, Usher Raymond V, being rushed to the hospital after nearly drowning. Usher's herpes case

In 2017, Usher was sued for $20 million on the grounds that he exposed Laura Helm to the herpes virus during a sexual encounter. Helm initially sued for $10 million, claiming that Usher did not inform her of his condition prior to engaging in sex. She later raised the amount, citing emotional harm and punitive damages. Usher sought the dismissal of the suit, saying that Helm knew the risks of unprotected sex and that he owed her no "duty of care". Usher's relationship with P. Diddy
